Incubation Time

When people ask me why I don't date  in high school I have a simple answer, It complicates life. I have seen far too many friends be changed for the worst because of a relationship, weather it be sinking into a depression, or getting too deep in a relationship. High school should be a time when you are getting to know yourself and God. Don't get me wrong I have nothing against people who date in high school I know many people in great relationships. However it is not for everyone.

Twist and Turns

Life:A series changes, people,and influences. A time where you live on earth almost like a blind folded mouse scurrying to find his last piece of cheese. A thinking process, there is always something on your mind weather it be deep or light. Life is a time to learn.
      Recently my life has had many twist and turns, unexpected circumstances, and has felt quite out of control. Though in the moment you feel like you aren't even the one living your life but rather watching from a distance you know the choices you make will effect tomorrow. Yet, in time you will feel a complete peace, even though you know change is around the corner this peace consumes you. Now there is two different kinds of peace, assurance that everything is going to be fine, and the other knowing whatever happens good or bad God is in control, always and forever, and that even if life isn't perfect your Jesus is. The first peace is only temporary, and no where near as fulfilling as the second. The second will last as long as you keep your eyes on Jesus and continue to trust in him alone. The second is far better.

God's Little Reminders

Many times in life you do things without notice, sometimes they are good and others they are bad. In recent days I have been reacting to things without thought, consideration, or the Holy Spirits guiding. I would have never realized how my comments came across, until a good friend of mine brought it to my attention. At first I was crushed, embarrassed and even a little angry. I cried myself to sleep that night wondering why I would do such a thing when I strived to do the very opposite.However that morning I woke up to pure relief that he told me, for if I would have carried on it would have grown worse. Though it isn't easy God puts these people in our life to help us it is his little reminder through someone else.

prayer

Have you ever postponed praying for something because you thought it was set in stone?That is what I did for six months.Then finally last week I prayed about it .What do you know , My prayer was answered .God is faithful and now I know that if I would have prayed in the first place it would have been allot easier!

Gone

This word is extremely sad but hopefully never true. when I say bye to someone I pray it isn't goodbye. The only true goodbye is the separation by death and that is between heaven and hell. It makes me want to be sure no one I know goes to Hell or anyone else in the world. However ,we know from the Bible people are going to Hell,but it doesn't say how many. Let's tell the world of God's forgiveness, love, and free gift.
